Balanced Christianity by John R. W. Stott

Read by Malcolm

The book is simply about polarization in Christianity. Stott laments how Christians are all different in their faiths due to temperament or intellectual focus, thus leading some to champion certain aspects of the church at the expense of other aspects. He explains how we need to not choose one over the other but instead hold both sides in tension together so as to remain biblical and faithful.

We need to be humble and ask the holy Spirit to give us wisdom to see things as God sees them so that we live a life of balance not only in churches but to our very core.
